When should you consider surgery for plantar fasciitis? I'am currently on anti-immflamitorys and recieving ultrasound with a topical steroid cream, I have been recieving these treatments for almost six months and the pain just keeps increasing. My poditrist is now considering cortazone injections(which I hear are very painful, and my not work) Is surgery for me?

I would consider orthotics in conjunction with the ultra sound therapy and anti-inflammatories. You should also be stretching and massaging the area, especially in the morning before getting out of bed.

You will find orthotics on Foot.com or you may want to consider custome orthotics.
