I am having severe pain on my right foot on the right hand side. It is the opposite side of my arch. It feels like it is broken, but x-rays show there is no break. Any ideas? My doctor suggested orthotic to help the problem.

Orthotics may be helpful to support and remove any strain on tendons and ligaments which could be causing the pain. Disorders you may want to read about on Foot.com are Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis.
