Im 58 years old and when I walk it feels like im walking on the bones of my feet. It just seems like theres no cushion on the bottom of my feet...does anyone know anything about this problem?? What's it called? Any Corrective action?

Yes as we age we tend to lose the fat pad to the ball of the foot area; commonly known as fat pad atrophy. The pain to this area can also result if you have hammer toes and this causes the heads of your toes to become closer to the ground. My suggestion is that you look into a pair of orthotics. My suggestion for you is a Lynco conform device with a met pad. This will help take some pressure off the ball of your foot.
