Pain

I have a blue dot which looks like it's running within a vein on the bottom of my foot. When I stand or run it pertrudes and causes pain only on the dot. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I have also at a different time experienced Plantar fascia in the same foot, which affects my whole arch. This however is only on that vein on the bottom of my foot.

I just wanted to add that I run frequently and I'm 5'2 134 lbs. The dot is located just beneath the ball of my right foot, just before the arch. It wasn't identifiable on the foot identifier. It was just between the two available choices. It feels like a BB and only the dot is painful.
Thanks |

Well varicosities do not often appear like that on the bottom of the foot. I would monitor the lesion for any change in size or color. More importantly you should make an appointment with either a podiatirist or dermatologist as soon as possible for evaluation of the lesion.

[COLOR=red][FONT=Courier][SIZE=7]Dr. DNK..It's not a lesion. There's no broken skin or sore. The only way I can describe it is.. just as a vein appears beneath the surface of your skin, it's just like that, it looks like that except it's round in shape instead of long like a vein. Oh, and it feels like a little pebble or ball.
I'll still look for a dr. while I wait for your thoughts.
Thank You,

Just checking to see if you ever made the appointment with a doctor? Did they diagnose it as varicose veins? Please contact us again if you have any additional questions.
