Greetings.
In addition to an over the counter orthotic, I frequently to do toe curls to help strengthen my arch, clockwise and counterclockwise ankle revoltions and even occasionally walk around the house on the 'sides' of my feet. All in effort to have healthy feet. However, my efforts seem to be in vain, as I still experience ankle/knee and back pain.
What else can I do?
Regards,
Darren

It is difficult to answer your question because so many things need to be taken into consideration. But you did mention that you are using a OTC orthotic and you have flat feet. Is the orthotic posted? A posted orthotic has a slight lift on the inside part of the heel. This helps to bring the foot into a more neutral position. I suggest you go to a comfort shoe store and have your foot, footwear and orthotic evaluated.
