ok here goes. my problem is my heels start to hurt painfully after standing alot at work, also i tend to walk heavily on my heals. i tried buying the dr scholls extra support insoles .suposed to help for heavier people and well im about 70lbs heavier than i should be but thats a different site. i walk heavily on my heels and have done so for years cant seem to stop. the insoles i got help some with overall foot pain(standing on concrete floor for 8 hrs or so hurts) but not that much with heel pain. oh and if it matters have wide feet like mens 12 5e.
just trying to see if anyone has any ideas to help.

Well your weight may be an issue since many of the over the counter insoles are for a certain weight. You should make an appointment with a podiatrist for an evaluation and possible casting for custom orthotics. This way the doctor can choose the material which would be best for you and also pick the correct device to accomodate your size because if the device is not supporting your weight then it is not going to help you. Good luck.

You would also benefit from icing the heel and doing stretching exercises. Both will provide you with reduction of the inflammation at the heels. Congrats on the weight loss and keep up the good work. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way.
