What can I use for toenails that have turned a light brown?
DOCTOR DNK
The fact that your toenails have turned a light brown may indicate that you have a mild fungal infection in the toenails. This can be treated by topical antifungal medications for the toenails or by an oral medication which must be prescribed by a doctor. The topicals may work if this is the beginning of the fungal infection. However if they have been like this for a while and are making the toenails thicker and deformed then the oral medication will be better. You should make an appointment with a podiatrist for consultation and possible treatment.
