I have a friend that just had a baby a few months ago. She's recently been waking up to this interesting ailment. I'll write it down exactly as she has told me.
For the past couple of nights my right ankle has been "turning in" towards my other foot. When i wake up in the morning my right foot has completely turned towards my left foot. Its sickening to look at and its very painful. I have to turn it back and it pops a few times.
There's no redness or swelling. Any ideas?

Your friend needs to have her ankle checked out. Her lateral collateral ligament (ligament towards the out side that prevent the foot turning in) could be just loose(due to the resent pregnancy) but it could be more than that.
She could wear an ankle brace to bed. Any ankle brace available at a sporting good store or pharmacy. Make sure it fits it's comfortable and that can be worn for several hours with out complaint. the circulation of the foot should be unaffected it just resist the foot turn enough that it is not painful in the morning.
Hope this helps
