I had two (mortons) neuromas removed from my left foot December 2006. One was between my 1st and 2nd toe and then the other was between my 2nd and 3rd toe. I have pain now that is in my little toe and along the left side of the foot and it is particularly worse at night or when I have been up on my feet a lot. it feels very sore to the touch and if it is bumped it is very very painful. I can hardly stand the sheet against my foot at night anymore. I am beginning to think that I may have another neuroma that was missed or possibly a totally new issue with my foot. I was also treated for plantar faciitis at the same time as my foot surgery and have a long history of it in both feet. my heel pain has been improving slowly however. I also have numbness in my middle toe and part of each of the toes next to it from the surgery last december.
Is it possible to have 3 neuroma in the same foot? I hate the thought of having a second surgery so soon but it is getting hard to sleep at night with all the pain again.
