I've been exercising on an eliptical machine at the gym and ususally by the 30 min mark, the forefoot area of my soles begin tingling - what could I do to help that?

Dear Terry
Usually the symptoms which you are describing results from repetitive activity, such as using an eliptical maching, running and cycling. It may be due to the repetitive nature of the actual activity which sometimes causes an impingement of the nerves. I would recommend that you follow-up with a Podiatrist for an evaluation. The solution may be simple such as changing shoe gear, using orthotics, loosening the lacing of a shoe or wearing a thicker sock. In any event, an evaluation is warrented to examine if there are any biomechanical issues which may be involved in perpetuating the problem.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
