Well it is rather peculiar that you only notice these blisters on your left foot. However, blistering most commonly occurs from irritation such as rubbing or from a fungal infection. Do you recall the name of the cream prescribed to you? I am curious if it was an antifungal. You may need to try a different antifungal cream if it is a fungus or simply need a dry agent to do soaks with to help absorb the extra moisture to your feet. I would make an appointment with your podiatrist for evaluation.

Yes, there is a blistering form of tinea pedis ( athlete's foot) and this is very common among men. I hope that the medication helps. I told you in my email that it sounded like a fungal infection and it is; so next time you will be more tuned into what is occuring. However, summer is coming so make sure that you alternate your shoes, change socks on a regular basis and use an antifungal powder daily to prevent reoccurence of the fungal infection.
