Most patients are prescribed custom molded shoes by there podiatrist or medical doctor. These shoes are prescribed when an individual has severe deformities or swelling which is not accommodated by a pair of in-depth or extra depth oxford shoes. You also need to find out if your insurance company covers the custom molded shoes.
