Swollen foot

I have my left foot swollen for about a month. During this period of time, I have consulted a foot specialist but he could not find anything wrong with my foot.
In the morning, my foot is swollen only around the toes and a little bit on the top of the foot.
What I noticed is that my left foot get more swollen after I wear the high heels. I have a slight pain there. To be more specific, I feel more uncomfortable there than feel pain.

Thanks
delavo
If the foot speacalist could not find a problems then next would be to check your circulation.

High heel shoes can cause poor body position which can affect the circulation.

Dear Swollen foot,
Unilateral swelling to the extremity, may be due to a number of reasons: 1) trauma/fracture/muscle rupture 2) tendonitis 3) deep vein thrombosis 4) baker's cyst 5) mass 6) infection 7) incompetent venous circulation etc..etc.. I would recommend that you follow-up with another podiatrist for a second opinion as well as with a vascular surgeon, in order to evaluate if there is any venous/valvular incompetence.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
