Well it sounds as if you could be suffering from plantar fasciitis. This is an overuse injury which is very common. It is usually presensts with the symptoms of pain to the heel and arch area. Some patients also feel a mild electrical pain. It is often described as pain worse in the morning or after periods or rest and that it subsides with walking and during the day. Treatment for this is often stretching exercises, orthoses, steroid injections and physical therapy. I recommend that you make an appointment with your podiatrist for a thorough evaluation and x-rays.
