I was wondering if anyone has ever had a cyst in their foot and what it feels like. I am currently being evaluated for a heel problem and my Dr. said that I could possibly have a cyst on my foot. I am in alot of pain and was wondering if anyone knew about this condition. Thanks....

The type of cyst that your doctor is referring to is most likely a fluid filled cyst which often are benign. The treatment for these often may involve draining, steroid injections followed by compression dressings. Sometimes surgical intervention may be required. Depending on the type of cyst that you may have there can also be a reoccurence of the condition. You should wait to see what your MRI report shows before becoming overly anxious about this.
