OK. What should I do about this problem. I run maybe 3 miles a day.

Where do you mean you have the blisters? Where along the first metatarsal?

I used to have a lot of problems with blisters when I ran. The problem was that my shoes were the wrong size! when I switched to larger shoes with a wider toe box, my blister problem went away. Hope that helps.

Footwear, designed for running, comes in many styles. Have you bought your footwear from a quality running or pedorthic shoe store that will measure your shoe size and help you select footwear designed for your foot shape, your training technique, your running goals and your body type? Remember to select hosiery, socks, that reduce friction, that fit smoothly against your foot and are made of fabrics that wick moisture away. Don't forget to rest and allow blisters to heal before going back to your running routine.
Look on Foot.com for shoe dealers who want to service your footwear and footcare needs.
We encourage you to consult with your podiatrist or other footcare professional. This advice is not intended to take the place of a visit to, or advice from, your physician.
