Often when I run for about 20 minutes or longer my feet will become numb all over the bottom of the foot. Is this just lack of oxygen to the foot and poor circulation or is it something more? thanks

I have the same problem. Can you comment on it in forum?

I used to start experiencing numbness on the sole of my right foot after I reached 4 miles. The solution for me was to get the proper running shoes that provide enough support to my ankles AND try to run in sliding fashion (as opposed to pounding) minimizing the contact/impact of my heels.
This will at first make your calves and achiles tendons work harder so take it easy in the begining.

I would also recommend wearing well cushioned socks.
